After returning from four years of service as a border guard soldier, I was devastated to discover that the home I once knew had become nothing but ruins, and my wife had chosen a different path.
With nothing left to my name, the most precious thing I still have is my young son. Using the small amount of money from my military discharge, the two of us are starting over from zero in these remote mountains and forests. From rebuilding our home with my own hands, constructing a simple wood-burning stove, to restoring our small garden — everything I do is for my son’s future.
This is not only a journey to rebuild a house, but also a journey to restore hope and the bond between father and son. Thank you to everyone who has accompanied us and given us strength along the way.
