Knockoff is a Chrome extension that cleans up Amazon search results by spotting pseudo-brands, the random all-caps storefront names that exist mainly to game Brand Registry. The pain is buying a charger, tool, or cable and realizing every result looks fake. Knockoff runs locally, uses allowlists, blocklists, known-brand data, and name heuristics, then hides, dims, or labels suspicious listings without sending your shopping path to a server.#github #opensource
