Moving to a new city can be tough, nobody knows you, and nothing feels like home yet.
Two days into living in the Bay Area, I walked into San Francisco’s Chinatown, home to one of the biggest Cantonese-speaking communities in the US. I’ve spent the last couple years learning Cantonese and some Mandarin, and wanted to meet some of the locals!
So I spent the day eating good food, practicing my Cantonese and Mandarin, and honestly just made some friends along the way.
